NSW: Racing car driver killed in smash

SYDNEY, Feb 25 AAP - A racing car driver died after crashing at high speed into a wall
at the Eastern Creek Raceway, in Sydney's west, today.

The man, believed to be aged in his early 20s, suffered severe burns after the car
burst into flames on impact, an ambulance spokeswoman said.

"He had multiple traumatic injuries and burns and he was in cardiac arrest at the scene,"

she said.
