Fed: Rogerson charged but says its a police campaign against him

Disgraced former NSW detective ROGER ROGERSON will appear in Adelaide's Magistrates
Court today charged with corruption.

The 63-year-old was arrested and charged this week when he entered the state.

ROGERSON is currently on tour with "Wild Colonial Psycho", a theatre comedy show which
also stars notorious criminal MARK "CHOPPER" READ and ex-Aussie rules footballer MARK
"JACKO" JACKSON.

South Australian police say ROGERSON was arrested on Wednesday and charged by the Anti-Corruption
Branch with "procuring abuse of public office".

Lawyer PAUL KENNY says the charge dates back to 2002 but he's declined to comment further.

ROGERSON, who was released from custody, has accused authorities of waging a campaign
against him.

He's also accused the Australian Crime Commission of tapping his phone.
